My "vent tube" goes straight up to two small canisters, one black, the other one clear, and those are connected to a very large canister under the seat. End of the line. The big canister is connected to nothing. The only other hoses are the fuel line and one vacuum line to the petcock. The inlet to the air box has never had a hose on it.
I really believe this was the dealer's configuration. The previous owner was NOT a doityourselfer: I got the thing with 140 miles on it and the break-in oil still in it.
My question (sorry for all that preamble) is, are all those things going to fill up with garbage if I don't provide something to draw it out?

think your looking at the evap canister same as on a car.. the hose your looking for is the small one from valve cover to air box..you can bypass evap and remove but will not pass emisions im lucky all we have is saftey inspection..

If the engine is like this one the scroll down the page for the puller. Scrappy has fast shipping. http://www.scrappydogscooters.com/CF250_Water_cooled_parts.htmlPS: Next time click on "new topic" and start your own dedicated thread. I don't know all that much about the 250cc Chinese scooters but I can point you to parts.
