Did you verify that spark is the issue visually by holding the plug against the engine in the wire while cranking or is a spark issue your best guess?

Well, if all you did was to park it and it started acting up , then it's most likely a loose connector or sabotage.

You have any enemies at work?

 Did it get wet?

As far as it getting wet it was dry that day I live in Florida  so the weather isn't too bad as far as enemies  a couple of people that were jealous of the scooter  do you have any ideas where I could start looking for the problem which connectors or wiring harnesses ?

Not to insult your intelligence, but there is a kill switch on scooters on the right side grip switch assy. It indicates run by a circular arrow, and stop is the same arrow with an X through it on my scoot.

Is your kill switch set to run?

Here's a couple of examples:

Okay well I had to ask.  Smiley

If you already tried a different CDI then it's probably a loose connector plug somewhere. Maybe the one for the key switch behind the front fairing, or possibly one of the two connections on the ignition coil has come off.  I would just go through and check every connector you can find.

you must have the side stand in the up position for most
scooters to start , its a safety thing...

Today I checked every connector I could find  doesn't the CDI  control the spark if so how do I check to see if power is going to the CDI  the chance of two  CDIs being bad are slim
 any other suggestions
