That is what I wanted to hear.
Thankyou so much for you time and patience.

I could not understand why you kept saying check the
valves if its starting fine.

Sorry if I made you upset..
This is frustrating.
And yes , I do not want to take that much off to elimate
that theory, and I have never done the valve on a scooter
before..
Couple of cars. But kind of weak in that area.

Thankyou for the last reply  Fox
 and others that been replying.
Thanks for the links for valve adjusting..

Well, time to learn ? I did my first valve adjustment last summer, have to take off ALL the plastics on my scoot to get to the darn things. But it had to be done. Print out the guide, go step by step..you should already have the tools ( if you own a Chinese scooter you need the tools ) and the feeler guage is only about $5 if you don't have one. If it's not the problem, then it didn't cost you anything but time. And you learn something new. And while you have the thing apart look for any loose connections, ha Grin

( sorry Fox, I can't get past the thing about the electric start working sometimes after jumping around on it )

It's all good Goosey!

I guess I was a little hard on Kite but I just get frustrated by guys that have no clue questioning the advice given to them by people with a lot of knowledge because they are scared of turning bolts they never turned before. It's a friggin' machine. As long as you put everything back the way you found it it'll act the way it always did. It has no brain. It's a collection of metal, plastic, glass and rubber parts. Nothing more. No need to be intimidated. You just have to look at it like a toaster or an Ikea desk.  Wink

I found mine at "The Tool Shed"a small tool store. I know even the guys at the tool store were thinking it couldn't be "that" small. Hope you don't have to order online, hate waiting for tools and parts myself.

Go to any Sears store. They will have the correct gauges.
