What? No more valve adjustments? NOPE! And I'm selling my blue scoot as soon as I get this on the road. I'm a 2 stroke convert now but that doesn't mean I'm gonna leave you all. It just means that I'm gonna put a 70 or 80cc Big Bore Kit on it and a Pipe/Carb/Jet/Porting/polishing etc.. so it'll do stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxZ3KN8ReBM&feature=related

LOL, ya, I've been following your posts with that racey crowd in the other forum. I have started looking for a project myself...more along the lines of an old Vespa, restoration project. ( I know, those Vespa people are so darned elitist ) Have fun with the new shiny yellow toy !

You should post over there! We need a woman's touch. I'll sell you my blue scooter for $350+shipping if you want it. it has about 2200 on the new engine and starts up immediatly upon pressing the button. Runs smooth and quiet. It needs a belt and a battery

I know what you mean Fox by the quicker 2 stroke. I have said before that I have one of each. A 2 stroke Eton Beamer and a 4 stroke verucci. The 2 stroke will beat any 4 stroke {on takeoff and speed} of the same engine size ,any day of the week. It is nice to never have to worry about valve adjustments as well.

Yeah, I wanted to keep the red one but we had a property tax bill for $1000 so it went on craigslist but I'm gonna keep this one no matter what and I have another big bill with the car/van insurance. ($1400) I'll panhandle before I sell this one. There's a guy in Indiana who's currently fixing up an E-ton Beamer: http://49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=builds&action=display&thread=189 I took off those weird blinkers in the front and installed the proper headlight/blinker assy. off the Pep Boys SC50 scoot I picked up for free a few weeks back. Before: After:
