My speedometer has been off since the day I got this bike.  I hate having to do math in my head while I ride so while I had the dash apart to put LED backlights in I did the following mod.

I used a black Sharpie™ to black out all the MPH numbers.  Then I used  one of the P-Touch™ labelers to make tiny "15 "25" and "35" labels.  I placed the labels where the GPS indicated were the correct speeds.  It looks a bit rough but not bad to me...

P.S.  I'm looking for P-Touch label tape with white letters on black.  I'll replace these when I do...

I never paid too much attention to my speed on my 50cc because you're always going too slow.   Cheesy

You will have to see the bike computer I installed on my scooter way back in '06, it takes care of that pesky speedo being out of whack.

I was think about something like that on my MC13-250 speedo is off 25%, but I am getting so used to it now it wouldn't be worth the trouble!! The Chinese use the same counter an all their scoots without regard to wheel size.

The counters may be the same I guess but the gearing in the drive down at the wheel varies. I found that out when I tried to swap a gear from one to another and the teeth were different on the spiral part.
