Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am glad it has been created. I am thinking about buying a Tank Touring 150 DE Scooter. I read differing specifications regardig the size of the wheels/tires on different web sites. One site specified 12" aluminum alloy wheels/12" tires (they called it the"Touring 150 DE Luxe") for $1800 plus $200 for shipping. Another site mentioned 10" wheels and tires. Their price was $1600 with free shipping. Could it be that there is two different models with two different wheel size? I am thinking bigger, 12" wheels would be safer for the occassional run on the freeway (or at any speed actually).
Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks in advance,

Be very carefull what your buying! there are old model tank scooters out there and a few tank clones for sale now on ebay...there not real tanks!
the easy way to tell is, tanks have (at least mine does) front and rear disk brakes. not a rear drum. also my touring 150 has duel rear shocks, not a single swing arm. so be carefull

my touring 150 cane with 12" X 4" tires, i like them, seem very good on this bike. I used to own a 85 honda elete ch150, it had 10" wheels and i have to say the 12" wheels make a big diffrence both in sugar sand (a problem in florida) and pot holes. it simply a smother ride Cheesy

From what I've read there are two Touring 150's.  Version 1 has the mono and rear drum brake and the updated version 2 dual disks and two rear shocks.
