Hey guys this is my first post here but let me explain whats happening. I purchased two brand new 150cc scooters. Im having a problem with one of them and it dosent even have 100 miles on it yet!! The running lights dont work and the dash lights dont work as well. Ive looked over all the fuses, and grounds and cannot find the problem. The R/R is putting out sufficent voltage, 12.7V not running and 13.6V running. The headlights, brake light and turn signals all work, just the dash lights and running lights wont work. This is driving me nuts, any ideas on where I should look? Does the same power wire feed rear running light and front running lights? Same for the dash lights as well? Any help would be appreciated.

You're going to have to determine what color the wires are coming off of the running lights and track down the loose connector. Green wires are grounds. It may be as simple as a wire not tight in the plug. You should be able to access the connectors in the front under the plastic, or the back by crawling under. Give everything a nudge in the back side of the plugs. I don't think it's going to be anything else, since the headlight and brake lites work it's not likely a regulator or stator issue.

Goose the running lights are built into the mirrors as well as the turn signals. They have 3 wires that go into the mirror, im assuming one for the running lights, one for the blinker and one as a ground? If one of the connectors from either side came loose would I lose all running lights?

I noticed on my Tank that if I had one running light unplugged, none of the running lights would work. So it is possible. Might be a ground issue, not sure.

If it's any help, blinker wires are usually light blue, and light orange, with green ground.

Did a little more work today, the runnning light bulbs are all blown. Now I dont know why? What would cause the headlight/running light bulb to all blow? Any suggestions? This bike is brand new, but did have a bit of shimmy at high speeds that cause vibration...

Headlight/taillight blown, blinkers are fine? That would either be the regulator is faulty (easy plug and play replacement) or more likely the "stator"came faulty (not as easy and need a flywheel puller). If you bought it local try and get the dealer to repait /replace those parts for you, if not we'll see what we can do to help.
