My wife and I are buying 2 Urban 150's. I won't bore you with the details of the hassels we have had with the buying process, but you should know we still have not recieved them yet. The funny thing is it took along time to actually delve through all the "cheap scooter" bashing to find out what I believe to be the real story about Tank scoot's, which would be they seem to be descent even for a "cheap chinese scooter". But I have not found anything about the Urban 150 racer. We would appreciate any comments about these and hopefully someone will respond who has one. By the way thanks "Jacar" for this forum specifically about Tank's. I realize you guy's sale them but you seem to be more interested in just setting things right wherever we might have bougt them from. Also I plan on being around this forum for a while, hopefully it takes off.

Thank You for your words...
I think a lot of the complaints that people have is because they don't like online sales. We are not an online sales shop even though we do most of the business through the internet. BUT we are trying to change that. I think that Chinese scooters in general, as long as they are legal and have DOT, EPA and for California, CARB can be decent scooters. But our preferred method is sales through our dealer network.
We work very hard building our dealer network. We want to make sure that you have support after the sale. I think that support is important. I think that is what makes TNG successful. Is not that their bike is more superior to other. It is also manufactured in China just like Tank, Verucci or Bravus. But I think their strengths comes from them taking the product and market the product correctly, and a very nice dealer network.,
We hope to be there with time. We are constantly following leads. The problem is that we make sure that they are legit and not looking to buy a few bikes for their friends.
Thank you all...

I recieved a Tank Racer150 about a month ago and am in love...All ready put about 800 scootarific miles on it. Make sure to keep your oil levels where there supposed to be and scoot away. The only issue I faced in the "braking in period" was two bolts coming loose where the exhaust meets the motor head. The expanding and contracting of the parts can cause these bolt to loosen and if not given a once over can come off while riding giving your scooter an open header sound. Other than that it's... Fun, Fun, Fun...!!!

I was wondering if you could share how long it took to recieve your scooter from the time you ordered and where you purchased it?

i bought my tank urban touring 150 from bnscooters in kansas on line. i ordered it before the hurricaine hit and gas prices went crazy. it took them 24 calender days (15 working days ) to get the bike and paperwork. now i understand its more like 3-5 weeks, due to a big jump in sales, seems like a lifetime when your waiting for your bike
