50cc Linhai aeolus Passportz

Hello Again everyone,
I finally ordered a new kit. Replaced the air filter, jet, exhaust, piston, piston rings, cylinder head, valve head.
Scooter starts, no oil leak, great acceleration, but only a little increase in top speed.

One problem, the scooter shuts off intermittently. It will run fine for a while and then just shuts down. I checked the air/fuel mixture, but turning the knob doesn't seem to do anything unless I turn it too low and it shuts off.

I upped the main jet to an 85. I put a foam unifilter on it, and a performance exhaust with the sound muffler removed.

I just wanted to sum up what I learned.
For those that have the Linhai Aeolus Passportz, there is no governor on this bike that I know of. If it is, it is electrical or built into the design, no washer.

For those going to the big bore kit, don't believe the hype. It does not give you that much more speed at all. Although, it seems to be a lot more acceleration. Don't believe the hype about having to only change the bore. You may have to change the air filter, the Main Jet, and the exhaust as well because of air flow problems. The bike will not run or will keep shutting off until you make the other changes.

Any suggestions on why the scooter keeps shutting off? Thanks!
