I HAVE A NEW HONLING MP150 SCOOTER AND NEED TO KNOW THE GAP SIZE FOR THE SPARK PLUG. ALSO IF YOU CAN TELL ME WHO SELLS PARTS FOR THIS I WOULD APPRECIATE. THE MC-JM50 IS EXACTLY LIKE MINE EXCEPT ITS A 50CC AND MINE IS A 150CC. A LOT OF SCOOTERS HAVE CLONE NAMES AND PARTS THAT FIT AND I CANT FIND ANYONE WHO SELLS PARTS FOR MINE.

You have been here way too long BOMBSOX to have not downloaded the free service manual(s) that tell you the plug gap. You wanna know why you have a negative Karma rating? It's because you have been around here for quite a while now and you still ask basic questions that you should know the answers to and you still type in all caps sometimes which is considered yelling at us. Click this link and download the Arrow, the GY6 and the 50-150 manuals and put them in a folder titled "Manuals" so you can stop wasting our time and yours and look this simple sh*t up yourself.

 Thanks!

Everything I know I either learned online or posted it myself online in the resources section. You need to start being more self sufficient and organized about how you surf the web. I'm not trying to be a hard-ass dude. I'm just frustrated because you should have read through the resources section by now.

Parts can be bought on Ebay. You type in GY6 and the name of the part you are looking for.

Example:
http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=GY6+starter&_sacat=0&_odkw=GY6+parts&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

YOU CAN ALSO FIND PARTS AT THE FOLLOWING PAGES. I SUGGEST YOU BOOKMARK THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

the manual that came with the scooter doesnt have names of some of the parts on this scooter. i have owned quite a few scooter and i know all of the part names as almost all scooters have a clone. i had an sunl 150t-21 which we were talking about all the issues on and that scooter had a lot of clones like the tank sporty 150 and a bunch of others so it was easy to get parts for. this scooter i got now is an honling mp150 the clone to the honda ruckus however from my research on the web some of the parts for the ruckus will fit mine some wont. i looked on ebay and all the scooter sites you gave me. none of them have parts for the hongling mp150 and i am shocked because its a 2009 and i would think those scooter places would carry parts for it. hard to believe they made a scooter that no one has parts for such as the battery cover which is the only plastic body panel on it. the lights i cant seem to find. there are a few engine parts i saw on there which were not on any of my other gy6 engines. the cdi, carb, spark plug, stator and those parts are the same as my other scooters so they are easy to buy. if you have a chance look up the mc jm50 that is exactly the same scooter as mine except its a 50cc. i could not find parts for that one either. i do search the web thoroughly before asking where i can find parts for something. the person i bought the scooter from gave the manual but its not parts manual so i dont know what to search for. the speedometer is another thing that i couldnt find on any of the scooter sites like the one i have.

I've never actually laid hands on one of those yet.  I haven't seen any parts for those either. your best bet would be to contact some of those links directly by phone and explain you have the Chinese Ruckus clone and see if they can order the parts that way. lots of sites can get parts they don't actually list on their website but you have to talk to them.

I have found a guy on ebay that sells oem stuff he is out of Shanghai..Kevin.Hang I believe his name is and his prices are very reasonable and he has a good rep have used him myself just as long as it is something you don't need in a few days...the old slow boat from china syndrome...and those little disc looking spark plug gappers you see in auto parts stores usually on the counter are really good because you can slide 'em in and are easy to use and set your gap and if it's too big, the gap that is, just tap it on a hard surface and re-do it...they take all the guess work out of it....
