I have a velocity scooter 150cc and it was running fine and I've rode it for a week. It turns over ok, finally starts but doesn't stay running. Seems like it's not getting enough gas. I had valve in the gas line that opens and closes, tested at cycle shop and that is ok. I've gotten it started at least 4 times today, but dies out after 30 seconds. poured a little gas in carb...but same thing happens...runs 30 seconds then dies out.

Start with a valve adjustment, this is routine maintenance, here is the quide, printing it out and having on hand will help you do each step properly. The adjustment itself is a 5 minute job. Getting the plastics off to get to the engine is the time and hastle part.

Then do this idle adjustment,

Angel did the valve adjustment solve your problem? I am having the exact same issue. My scooter starts and then the rpms slow down to idle and then it just dies, like once the choke comes off it just dies. I was thinking maybe the idle jet was plugged up because the scooter has been in storage...I'm at a loss..

Clean the carb and adjust the mixture screw according to this guide:

If still no go, valve adjust.
