I don't think anybody can really answer your question. However a simular attempt done recently with a 150cc scooter resulted in an overheated, burnt out of oil, completely fried engine half way through the journey. Good luck.

Most likely from an improper break-in procedure and lack of maintenance.  There have been many small displacement bikes making long trips like that and longer with no issues beyond normal maintenance and wear.  Those that broke down, generally broke because of a lack of maintenance or abuse by the rider.
