Can anyone send information on a Dongfang D150T . I purchased it from ScooterDepot.

I would like to know who manufactured the engine, and so on.  Thanks Scooterville

There's a metal plate on the scooter somewhere that has the factory name that assembled the scooter. The engine may or may not have been made at the point of assembly. It's the same as a Flyscooter Cadenza or a Znen (Lance) Phoenix. The engine is different that a normal Chinese 150cc engine. It's a 157QMJ-3. It takes a 906mm drive belt. The cylinder and cylinder head are different that a standard 157QMJ. The head is taller and the bolt holes are differently spaced. The valves are 80mm instead of 60mm long. I had one in the shop before. It had a burnt valve. I had to go through a third party to get a new one and a head gasket from Lance cause Lance requires you have a commercial account with them.

I used this site for the parts. They were called Bandit now they are Viper. They ordered the pats from Lance and Lance shipped them directly to me since Lance headquarters is close to my place here in So. Cal. I called them on the phone to place the order with a Visa card number.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Lance no longer offers the Phoenix model but they may still have parts for them. Give 'em a call! Here's the contact info:

Aside from the differences I stated earlier, the engines are serviced pretty much the same way. The oil changes and the belt drive work the same way as any other 150cc.

Thanks Fox, That was very helpful information. We originally were interested in the Znen Lance. We were told there out or going out of business. Therefore we decided to go with this D150T model. What attracted us to the D150T was appearance but most of all was the 16" tires. Is should provide a better ride and hopefully add some stability at top end, Thanks again Scooterville

I suppose if you got the warranty from scooter depot you won't need a parts supplier. They should provide them free. They do ride nice with the large wheels.

Looks like Roketa makes a clone of it:

I have a 300STD, I love it when it runs, which is not right now.  I think it's in the ignition. Undecided
