Are these any good? I'm totally new to scooters, don't really care what I get as long as it's a really good deal. I'm sure after a few months of riding I will get a better idea of what I want and sell the one I'm buying now.

If you like the style ( I have 2 like this), are willing to do repairs yourself, and have short legs, longer legs have a tendancy to hit  knees on the handles while turning on the Chinese retros,  then this is a fair price. You may be able to buy something like this for a less. This is not what I would call a "really good deal" though, I paid around the same brand new 2 years ago. The 150cc also requires a motorcycle license.

I'd probably pay up to $700 if it was in mint condition.

Hi and Welcome!

I am a scooter Mechanic here in Los Angeles. I recently sold a used one just like that one for $550 cause it had a lot of miles. I agree with Chris-bob. $700-$800 is a fair price for a used one like that.

I know a girl that lives off Fairfax and Whitworth selling a nice yellow one just like that in near mint condition with 1300 mi. $900 OBO  It's in great shape. I did a tune-up up, valve adjustment and an oil change on it 2 weeks ago. I'll send you her number in a private message.  If you do get a Chinese scooter hit me up if you need any repairs. I'm reasonable, friendly, honest and experienced.
