OK, I'm very happy that we recieved our two urban racers today. We were  pleasantly surprised that there was no real construction involved. I thought I was going to have to put the wheel on, but just had the battery and mirrors. Now here is the question. Since the manual is sooooooo bad!, do I need to put transmission fluid in and where? Where is the brake fluid resevoir so I can put that in if needed? How much oil? And finally there are two hoses ( look like fuel line) hanging, one on each side. One has a clamp and one does not where do they go? If anyone could help, PLEASE DO. Also if there is anything else I need to know before I start it let me know, Thanks

The racer has disc brakes in the front that will require fliud but the drum in the back does not.  Brake fluid will need to be added at some point but the bike comes with all fluids topped off.  Next to the brake handle should be a reservior cap that comes off by removing screws.  A window should be there as well that will let you know when to fill.  I have put around 800 miles on mine and it has not needed to be addressed.  I did need to replace the brake pads after 600 miless or so. They started skweeking.  No trans fluid to worry about just check the oil from time to time.  Thats located by the muffler and is just like your car.  It unsrews and a dip stick will appear.  Put oil in the same hole if low.  As far as the lines go, if the bike starts then its not a fuel line.  Might be a venting or overflow line for the gas tank.?  Look around to see if there is anything in reach that looks like it needs a hose attached....Good luck.    Jacar offers outstanding service and maintanance so if problems persist give them a call and ask for their tech. dept...
