My local scooter dealer is going to start selling a new scooter called a CPI GTR. Has anyone seen or better driven this scooter yet. I'm trying to find out any info. I was told that it is a 180cc engine and you sit on it like a regular motorcycle. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. I may be considering trading my Verucci Avispa 150 for it..

CPI has been around for a while.  They seem to be very high quality scooters.  I believe the company that distributes them is located in TX.  They always had that "race" look.

My dad has a CPI GTR150.  It's fast, handles well, but hasn't held up that well in salty Miami.  That being said it hasn't been treated the best but lots of the fasteners have rusted and it i prone to damage with its kick stand design.  I'm sure it would hold up better in a less harsh part of the country.

I BOUGHT A 2009 CPI GTR 180 FROM A DEALER HERE IN NEW YORK, ITS CALLED NEW YORK MOTOCYCLE. I GOT THE FLOOR MODEL AND IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MORE THEN IT HAS BEEN IN MY GARAGE, IT ONLY HAS 150 MILES ON IT, IT TURNED OUT ALL THE ORINGS WERE BAD, SO THEY REPLACED THEM AND A NEW CARB AND THE BIKE RUNS GREAT NOW. Um they gave me the choice of getting a brand new bike so i think i might do that, i was wondering if anyone was interested in buying the brand new bike.
